Tai, Dies, Pheagle, and Bushes are relaxing by the pool when Tai suddenly begins transforming. His face stretches into an orca's snout, his body turns to glossy plastic, and fins and a tail inflate into place until he becomes an orca pool toy. As the others stare in shock, Dies and Pheagle realize their own faces are beginning to change too.

Dies and Pheagle's transformations suddenly accelerate, giving them no time to react. Dies rapidly inflates into a giant green alligator pool toy while Pheagle becomes a large pink flamingo float. Their bodies harden into shiny plastic, leaving them silent and completely motionless. Bushes can only stare in horror before running from the pool, but as he escapes, he feels his own face beginning to change.

Bushes' transformation quickly spreads across the rest of his body. He rapidly inflates into a giant shark pool toy, desperately trying to resist as his cries fade into helpless squeaks. With a final flop onto the ground, he joins Tai, Dies, and Pheagle as another motionless inflatable. Days later, all four are found, deflated, packed into a storage box, and left to wait for another summer.
