It's honestly concerning how randomly on it's own Google Gemini's macOS app just...launches itself on its own out of nowhere. Time for it to go, PWA is more than enough.

What does your Raycast dictation prompt look like, and how are you using styles. Looking to start testing this out as my daily driver for voice dictation over another similar tool. I don't necessarily want to swing over all my prompts, but maybe it's a good idea to do it.

Anyone been using the Raycast beta as their daily? It seems to be pretty dang stable, I guess my biggest concern with using it as primary is some extensions not working on new versions? Not sure if that is a thing or not, or if there are other issues I'm not aware of.

I’m at the point where I truly hope Apple makes some significant strides when it comes to Apple Music on macOS specifically, but across all devices as well. If things remain the way they are, audio quality or not, I may swing back over to Spotify. Yes, the UI is a nightmare, but it’s fine. #wwdc

@hazels.garden Picking up AirSpace license now. Stumbled on your post on reddit, and was instantly sold. I will say, it has been a while since I purchased a license before tinkering/downloading the trial first. Appreciate the hard work you put into this! Looks great.

Finally swung the axe and got rid of my Adobe CC subscription. I really do enjoy Lightroom...etc, but there are so many equally powerful apps out there that don't cost nearly as much.

The developer(s) behind BetterTouchTool (BTT) have been on an absolute burner lately. I swear I login every morning to a fresh update with bug fixes and feature rollouts/refinements. Absolutely killing it.

To those of you that have moved away from Logitech Options+, and are using BTT (BetterTouchTool) with their MX Master Mouse... How are you updating your mouse without Options+ Installed when that time comes? I mean, I know it's a rare occasion, but...it will happen.

I seriously think the days of needing a search engine are coming to an end. Do you still active use search engines or lean on AI Search or just AI in general when searching for something?

Even though most of my life is digital, I still get a weirdly satisfying kick out of putting pen to paper for some note taking. Are there any old-school habits you keep reaching for in your everyday, too?

I’ve been exploring how small timing tweaks can improve the feel of everyday apps. Even something as simple as triggering an action—like an app switcher—benefits from being more immediate.

Made a quick python tool that converts screenshots of table views, into a usable, comma-delimited CSV. This utilizes locally installed AI models through Ollama, so your data never leaves your machine; but also gets it done quickly. Hope someone else gets use out of it!

I had OpenAI, Gemini, and Anthropic generate “about me” MD files so I can create a profile file to use across all models. It’s actually really interesting to read what they came up with about me. If you haven’t done this, give it a try!
