It's honestly concerning how randomly on it's own Google Gemini's macOS app just...launches itself on its own out of nowhere. Time for it to go, PWA is more than enough.

El Gato finally fixed the login items bug for the stream deck software in macOS, in their latest update! Been a long time coming but it is appreciated
What does your Raycast dictation prompt look like, and how are you using styles. Looking to start testing this out as my daily driver for voice dictation over another similar tool. I don't necessarily want to swing over all my prompts, but maybe it's a good idea to do it.
On Raycast V2, what is your favorite Light & Dark theme? I've honestly been enjoying the Raycast Light/Dark.
Anyone been using the Raycast beta as their daily? It seems to be pretty dang stable, I guess my biggest concern with using it as primary is some extensions not working on new versions? Not sure if that is a thing or not, or if there are other issues I'm not aware of.
I’m at the point where I truly hope Apple makes some significant strides when it comes to Apple Music on macOS specifically, but across all devices as well. If things remain the way they are, audio quality or not, I may swing back over to Spotify. Yes, the UI is a nightmare, but it’s fine. #wwdc
@hazels.garden Picking up AirSpace license now. Stumbled on your post on reddit, and was instantly sold. I will say, it has been a while since I purchased a license before tinkering/downloading the trial first. Appreciate the hard work you put into this! Looks great.
Hello cutie-buns! 💖😄🐰, AirSpace v2 is finally available on both the App Store and my website! (7-day free trial, no payment details needed) Grab it if you find it useful :3 hazels.garden/airspace apps.apple.com/us/app/airsp... #BuildInPublic #IndieDev #SoloDev #Indie #AppDev #macOSDev #Design
Got my access to Raycast Beta 🙃 Time to put this thing through the ringer!
Finally swung the axe and got rid of my Adobe CC subscription. I really do enjoy Lightroom...etc, but there are so many equally powerful apps out there that don't cost nearly as much.
I really wish smart mailboxes on macOS Mail, synced to iOS/iPadOS. Seems like a truly missed opportunity with such a simple but very powerful feature.
The developer(s) behind BetterTouchTool (BTT) have been on an absolute burner lately. I swear I login every morning to a fresh update with bug fixes and feature rollouts/refinements. Absolutely killing it.
Cork version 1.7.5 is out. This update includes a fix for an upstream breaking change related to package details, and a fix for environment var consumption corkmac.app discord.gg/kUHg8uGHpG github.com/buresdv/Cork #swift #swiftUI #macOS #buildinpublic #macdev #homebrew #CorkApp

To those of you that have moved away from Logitech Options+, and are using BTT (BetterTouchTool) with their MX Master Mouse... How are you updating your mouse without Options+ Installed when that time comes? I mean, I know it's a rare occasion, but...it will happen.
I can't wait to get my hands on Forza Horizon 6... Counting down the days to early access ;-)
I seriously think the days of needing a search engine are coming to an end. Do you still active use search engines or lean on AI Search or just AI in general when searching for something?
What MCP servers do you use for your AI Agents that you cannot live without?
Really enjoying the Ray-Ban Meta Gen 2’s. Getting the transitions was definitely the right move.
Even though most of my life is digital, I still get a weirdly satisfying kick out of putting pen to paper for some note taking. Are there any old-school habits you keep reaching for in your everyday, too?
I’ve been exploring how small timing tweaks can improve the feel of everyday apps. Even something as simple as triggering an action—like an app switcher—benefits from being more immediate.
Upgraded to Claude Max5… Things are about to get interesting… ;-)
Nomatic Travel Pack en route ;-) First bag I will own that isn’t AER in years.
Birthday Weekend! Lots of family time at the beach. Couldn’t ask for anything more.
Looks like Google finally listened: Gemini on macOS now lets you remove it from Login Items (it used to be on by default) and fully disable hotkey shortcuts. Progress!
Really considering just moving my Claude account to Max 5x…
Made a quick python tool that converts screenshots of table views, into a usable, comma-delimited CSV. This utilizes locally installed AI models through Ollama, so your data never leaves your machine; but also gets it done quickly. Hope someone else gets use out of it!
I had OpenAI, Gemini, and Anthropic generate “about me” MD files so I can create a profile file to use across all models. It’s actually really interesting to read what they came up with about me. If you haven’t done this, give it a try!
Nothing like ending a weekend with some good baseball. Happy Sunday everyone!
