Really enjoyed a gorgeous wildflower hike with family in the mountains yesterday! I never thought to explore the ski resorts in the summer, but Snowbird was stunning. I feel blessed to live in such a beautiful place.

Despite challenges, we had a lovely trip to Portland and Seattle to see our fabulous alumni and donors! Special cameo appearance by our former SJQ director of development, the fabulous Kevin Carrillo.

Loved celebrating my colleagues Amos Guiora (couldn’t attend) and Bob Keiter at @utah.edu's annual faculty awards. Bob received the Hatch Prize in Teaching, and Amos received the Presidential Impact Scholar Award. So blessed to have such amazing faculty at SJQ!

Moot court madness ended with an amazing final round in front of Chief Justice MacDonald (New Hampshire), Judge Federico (10th Circuit) and Justices Hagen and Peterson (Utah). Kudos to all of our amazing students who competed, and especially those recognized with awards after the final round.

Moot court madness continues! We hosted the semi-final rounds tonight joined by amazing alumni to judge the rounds. Tomorrow’s final round will see Team J argue as petitioner against Team C as respondent. All are welcome to attend the final round at 4 p.m. tomorrow (March 31).

Loved participating in the Big 12 Law Deans’ virtual collegiate sports law CLE with @mccannsportslaw.bsky.social and moderating a panel! Kudos to @uhlaw.bsky.social Dean Leonard Baynes for hosting a fabulous event. I enjoy these Big 12 events, and it is fun to collaborate with our friends.

It’s that time of year: Moot court madness! The annual internal Traynor moot court competition kicked off Friday with 22 rounds and over 60 judges. We are down to our four semifinal teams, who will compete tonight at 5:30 p.m. A big thank you to our amazing alumni who took time to judge!

Great visit to Park City to see some of our amazing alumni. Our lunch and CLE was hosted at the U.S. Ski and Snowboard headquarters. So cool!
