Currently playing the OG FFVII after recently playing FFIX and my god, the jump in quality between VII to IX is actually insane. VII remains my favourite entry but IX is probably the peak of the franchise imo (sorry FFX lovers)

The episode of the new Ghost in the Shell series where they did the garbage truck scene in Shirow’s intended tone and style is so cool. I love the Oshii version to death but it’s nice to see it as intended!
