What if victory in Iran was never the intent? Perhaps a facade for training a private militia on the public dime for the fascist state? Obviously not all troops are fascists, but there are enough — and enough grift to fund ‘roided up mercenaries. What if, for example, Jan 6 was just a test run?

ICE “guidance memo” turns out to be “erroneous”: shocking! Interestingly, ICE conveyed lots of other guidance in the past year to its officers, both written and verbal. How many OTHER examples of erroneous “guidance” are out there, and who will be left holding the bag for them? Hmmm?

While I understand the visceral urge to boycott the State of the Union address, let’s acknowledge the people in the streets in the past year who showed up and stood witness. Those still cleaning the blood from their streets. The time for boycotts is past. We need visible resistance, not absence.
