Last tiny collage trio for now. I’m itching to work on something large enough that I’ll need two hands to hold it. #mixedmedia #smallworks #painterlycollage #artwork #cityscape

Another trio of tiny collages. Let’s count these as “in progress” because I’m not quite satisfied with them yet.
I took a paper-making workshop at the Princeton University Art Museum. I’m not planning to switch to a style of collage; it was just a fun way to spend an afternoon. How much the campus has changed in 40 years! #PrincetonUniversity #handmadepaper
Another trio of small round collages. What would you call this color palette? I feel like there should be a name for it, but nothing’s coming to mind. #artwork #collage #triangles #asemic #pattern
Seeing fewer bees on the hostas each year, and last fall they produced markedly fewer seeds. This was the only visitor I saw today.
Three small collages made from the same set of magazine clippings. Three completely different styles. I have a definite favorite. Which is yours? #paper #collage #artwork #painterlycollage #abstract #bluewhitegreen
More bakes. Normally while vacationing I don’t spend this much time indoors, but Dave has really been under the weather, and I’ve been trying to pamper him with some of his favorites while staying in to keep him company. #homebaking
I’ve been baking almost every day on my vacation in the mountains. Half of everything gets frozen for when I return to muggy Philadelphia and don’t feel like running the oven. #homebaking #sourdough
Persistence paid off: “Sea Glass” was accepted into the Ellarslie Open exhibition at the Trenton City Museum. So glad I didn’t give up on this piece but continued to revise it. 20” x 16” (50x40 cm), mixed media #artwork #collage #abstract #circles #seaglass #kandinsky #painterlycollage
Avalanche, 7” x 5”, paper on cradled mat board.
Finished pasting on Monday. Finished varnishing on Wednesday. Sold on Friday.
Just sold my fifth ‘Ikebana’ collage, titled “Nautilus”. In the process of creating another to replace it. What sort of plant material do you think would look best in a vase like this one? #painterlycollage #papercollage #worksonpaper #artsky
Finished my poster for the #lambertville #shadfest . Posters will be auctioned off on the last weekend in April to fund scholarships for local art students. For the Love of Shad, #mixedmedia, 14” x11” (35x27 cm) #delawarerivertowns #shad #artforacause #artsky #hearts #collage
Art is chaos taking shape. -- Pablo Picasso Automation, 18" x 14" (46 x 36 cm), #mixedmedia (canvas fractal prints, acrylic, pigment marker). $1200 #abstract #artsky
Just dropped this #collage off at The Art Trust at Meridian Bank for their upcoming “Future Forward” exhibition opening this Friday, 3/27. Gravitational Assist, 7”x5” (18x13 cm), $180 #painterlycollage #artsky #westchesterpa #artexhibition #futurism
My #collage won first prize in the 14th annual Artists of Bristol member exhibition. Burning Bush, 20”x16” (50 x 40 cm), buffered magazine clippings on stretched canvas. #collageart #painterlycollage #abstract #artsky
The close I got to the dandelion, the more the bristles started looking like fireworks #art #photography #flowers #macro
A little striped collage. 4” x 4” (10 x 10 cm) Magazine clippings on mat board. #art #abstract #mixedmedia #splash
Aerial Ballet. 18” x 12” (45 x 30 cm). Magazine clippings on mat board. Lost. 😢 #painterlycollage #dragonflies
This collage is getting a slight touch up. Masked areas are sections that I will strip the varnish from and re-work.
