Sunspots through smoke. Wildfire smoke from the Pacific Northwest has created a dense smokey atmosphere here in British Columbia. The smoke acts like a solar filter. I used a 1000mm Nikkor mirror lens with no filter to catch the surface of the Sun. #astrophotography #astronomy
