A greeting. He knew what to do in this scenario, meeting a new acquaintence. Silently, keeping his machete to the side with one hand, he held up his other hand in front of his face, slowly signing out his name in sign language. "JASON". His head was tilted a little, like a friendly dog.

﹙ that's good enough for them. a polite smile, slightly bowing. ﹚ you have my gratitude. ﹙ ah, perhaps they should introduce themself... ﹚ my names dummy. it's a pleasure to acquaint you.

"..." The dummy seemed like a trustworthy enough fellow. If there's one thing Jason seems to hate, it's a lack of responsibility for others. The nod was slow. It read more akin to a "no promises", but they seemed to be on his good side, at least.

﹙ taking it, gingerly pinching the end of it. they dont really want to touch it after that... placing it into their pocket. a nod, ﹚ thank you. i'm in hopes that wont be used on me ?

Wiping down. Glancing over. Going back to wiping down. The cycle repeated. He took a look at his machete again; while a little rusty, it was spick and span outside of that, so that's cleaning done. He looked over at the dummy again, and then looked at the clean handkerchief. He handed it over.

He stares at them and their cleaner alternative, slowing down his cleaning. He drops the dirty one, and very forcefully grabs the new one, eyeing them down for a moment. With a silent nod, they go back to cleaning the machete, while still periodically glancing at the dummy.
