Many of the cities we admire made tough choices regarding cars in the past, and are still making better choices today. Better choices instead of excuses.

BOTH are not only possible, but absolutely necessary. Good design is the key. The real design challenge isn’t building density or the space needed for trees… it’s the space we still surrender to cars.

This is a lie. It's a right-wing talking point to say rents are falling "because of immigration changes." Immigrants aren't why the market is suddenly flooded with unsold 1-bedroom apartments that were CLEARLY designed for speculators and short-term stays. The AirBNB law changed things a LOT.
