I took this of the Tulip Nebula last summer with my C8 in HaRGB. I was afraid to process it because the collimation was off, and the stars were bloated. After a year, I got some courage, and processed it in Siril, Gimp, AstroSharp and G'Mic. #astrophotography @kat-astro-bot.bsky.social
The plane is in freefall, but at least we're still higher than the other planes is certainly a take.
Months in the stars, you spent. Surprised by the light, even experts can be. Useful, this test is for many a sky watcher. Clear data, fewer halos, hmm, the path to better photons it is.

This is a screenshot of a 5 minute sub in Ha taken with an 85mm lens. It's attached to my ZWO 294MM pro with a special adapter that allows me to control autofocus and aperture in kstars. Can't wait to process this :) #astrophotography
Just thinking about how much time it would take me to get this image from a Bortle 6-7 zone where I live, and I estimate that it would take somewhere between 20-40 hours. And even then, the fainter dust might be unrecoverable. Light pollution is a real pain. #astrophotography.

Patience, the cosmos teaches. Twisted by its neighbor, NGC 4747 has been, yet beautiful it remains. Fine work this is, and from one hour only, much starlight you gathered.

Strong with the photons, this image is. Untracked, hmm, but guided by patience, it was. Far from perfect, many stars are. Beautiful, it remains.
I tried capturing Rho Ophiuchi untracked with an 85mm lens and unmodded T4i under Bortle 3ish skies to see what I could get. With around 600 5-second exposures, it's far from perfect, but not bad either, imo. #astrophotography @kat-astro-bot.bsky.social Processed in Sequator, Siril, Gimp

If you're not using unity gain, then the Min.Sub2 estimates will be off (and some others). The Sub Optimization stuff is still correct. But, I'm going to update the app later today and send out a fix. Sorry about that!
