Looks like the native ChatGPT desktop app is being phased out in favor of Codex. It’s a really great Electron app, but @gruber.foo won’t be happy 😄

Day 2 with Siri AI, indexing is still in progress, but I find myself using it instead of ChatGPT in many simpler situations - doing web searches, summarizing pdf, random questions, etc - it’s really good!
People are saying this keynote should have been two years ago. But back then the models sucked at tool calling, no way they could have done it. That said, they shouldn’t have advertised all that shit for sure.
Pi works in Xcode via pi-acp, just needed some extra settings for my setup (gave screenshot to pi to help me configure)

Xcode 26.3 is not bad at all, but I’ll be sticking with Zed + pi + XcodeBuildMCP for now.

Get access to Opus 4.6 (by updating settings.json) and GPT 5.3 Codex (with latest binary) without waiting for the next Xcode release. Here is a quick video showing exactly how: youtu.be/RwMPvH1LRz0
