Since late 2023, the now 18 member nations of the Ukraine Defence Contact Group IT Capability Coalition – led by Luxembourg & Estonia– are working together to strengthen Ukraine’s ICT and cyber defence capabilities. To date, assistance worth €1.5 billion has been provided.

Luxembourg stands in full solidarity with its Ally Romania after a Russian drone involved in the bombing of Ukraine hit a residential building in Romania, leaving two civilians wounded. We fully condemn Russia’s reckless and irresponsible behaviour.

Meeting of the #PESCO Military Mobility Project representatives in Luxembourg. Military Mobility is not merely a logistical matter, allowing for unhindered movement of military personnel and assets within EU borders via road, rail, air or sea.

Repatriation operations by Belgium & Luxembourg continue. Our binational A400M Unit is currently in the Middle East to bring 134 people, from Luxembourg, Belgium, France and the Netherlands, back to safety from Dubai to Hurghada, & from there with a charter flight to Brussels.
