// I love an excuse to talk about Yuta's tattoos hehe
I always knew I was nonbinary. Nobody in Khuraβin ever questioned that, itβs as normal to us as anything else. Itβs curious how narrow-minded the States are in this regard.
Romantic feelings truly make no sense. Why does my heart beat so much faster around him? It feels like itβs getting ready to fight him rather than kiss him.
"My condolences. It is not easy to be considered family by Datz." They wouldnβt trade it for anything, though.
"That makes one of us. . ."
"Oh, yes. He would enjoy that very much. Iβm almost looking forward to the tale he spins out of all that tonightβ¦"
"Kay is Mi- Edgeworth's kid. She calls herself a Great Thief. If she ever meets Datz, trust me, you would know."
"Mmmh. I donβt know who that is. But if he breaks anything, I can pay for it."
"As long as he doesn't break any windows. Or god forbid run into Kay."
"I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but he has like a built in radar for Apollo and me. He will definitely come find him. And maybe kidnap him."
"As long as he doesn't find our office, I guess. Though he might anyway since Apollo is in town."
"I unleashed him on the world. He can find his enrichment out there. If he gets himself arrested, I will not bail him out." They totally will.
"Oh god that sounds terrifying."
Datz just told me he is bored. Statements that precede disaster.
I had a meeting with Prosecutor Edgeworth, but he never showed. Strange, heβs usually very reliable.
I suppose my uncle is here to stay for a while. Sigh
"Always. He doesnβt do things normally, ever."
"Yeah? He always like that?"
Came back to the window in my hotel room being open. Managed to catch the intruder and threw them to the ground, almost dislocated their shoulder. It was my uncle.
The journey through the snowy mountains to the old springs on my bare feet is easier than walking in the shoes they've provided me with this evening. Next time I'm insisting on dressing myself again
The prosecutor building is kind of eerie in the middle of the night. Reminds me of my sleepless nights wandering the palace halls. Always expecting shadows around the corner.
There is a rebellious glint in their eye very like their late fatherβs intensity. "No offense, Mr. Edgeworth. But Iβd like to see you try and force me to give her up."
"And you're lucky I'm being generous and not using that excuse to send the goat to the farm." He crossed his arms.
"It's not permitted to take evidence off-premises."
"Then I expect you to be working from home until that happens. You are distracting the other prosecutors."
"Subordinates... It is not my first language, I don't know what you call them." They were stubborn, though. "Anyway, no, absolutely not. I will keep her with me until I can personally hand her back to the rightful owner."
He could feel a headache coming on. "First, do not call them my subjects. Second, I will have another word with them. Third, if that goat is still in your office tomorrow I'm sending both of you home. Is that clear?"
I'd like to see him try and take it away. π
"You might want to check in with your subjects then, because they told me something else. Found it quite funny, too. Either they're lying to you, or they have a cruel sense of humor. I would not be surprised either way, they have yet to treat me with even an ounce of respect."
Miles pinched the bridge of his nose. "Do you really think me so cruel as to send her to a butcher? It's a local farm, I verified this myself. And I absolutely refuse to let you keep a goat in your office."
"She is already distressed enough, she is less distressed with me. I'm not giving her to a butcher to expose her to her kin being slaughtered one door down. It's cruel."
"That is utterly ridiculous. She is evidence. The farm is willing to look after her until a proper home is found. One that /isn't/ in your office."
"To a 'farm', they say. To a butcher, they meant."
"The precinct was going to hand her off to a local farm to keep an eye on her. I don't see the point in you keeping her. Especially if she's causing such distraction."
"That /thing/ is a /she/, Mr. Edgeworth. And of course I did, where was I supposed to put her?"
". . . Don't tell me you brought that thing into your office?"
It is a little difficult to focus on work when there is a baby goat stomping around and bleating demandingly.
Her name is Clover. She is technically a witness. But I'm not letting the local police handle her, the poor thing is traumatized enough
Did I just see Prosecutor Sahdmadhi carry a baby goat around
