Spanish Solo tour in January, followed by the Untamed Youth playing at the Rockin' Race Jamboree festival in Spain in early February! I can't wait to come back to one of my favorite countries on the planet. LET'S ROCK! Thanks to Gerardo from FOLC Records/Booking and my friend Francisco Santelices!
Very sad to read that Steve Cropper has passed. He co-wrote songs like "In The Midnight Hour," and "Sittin' On The Dock Of The Bay," so he was one of the few guitarists that could live high on the hog--big house, nice cars, no need to worry about next month's bills. Good for him. A life well-lived.

Happy Halloween, y'all! Here's a photo of my daughter Evelyn and I, quite a few years ago. Now she's 16, turned "goth" and horrified by this photo...ha ha
BLIND RAGE and VIOLENCE coming back from the grave? YES! If you haven't seen the world's deadliest Link Wray tribute band, then go to the American Legion Hall in Bell Gardens this Saturday (where Eddie Cochran used to play!)! Dress up in your wildest costume! Listen to wild Rock 'n' Roll!
This afternoon, make your way into the Sacramento Delta and to the old Chinese town of Locke. I’ll be playing a solo show at The Pearl. In Locke. It doesn’t show up on your GPS, there’s no website. Just show up in Locke and you’ll find it.
Here I go again! This time I'm off to Jolly Olde England to play the Rhythm Riot festival. I'll be playing guitar and baritone saxophone and engaging in hijinks with my pals from Los Torontos. Gonna be fun! Expect lots of photos of ancient British graveyards and a review of the local crumpets.
Heading to Eureka for the Redwood Coast Music Festival this weekend! I'll be playing two sets with myself and the Whippersnappers, a set with Mitch Polzak and an all-star hillbilly set with Dave and Deke, Mitch Polzak and Carl Sonny Leyland! I can't say enough great things about this festival!
What a surprise! I went walking with my daughter tonight, and the #alleyfigtree was the bushiest I had seen it since I started monitoring it years ago! And, I couldn’t believe it… That little survivor was full of little baby figs! I couldn’t believe it. It’s an underdog success story!
The interview I did with Otis Gibbs recently just dropped on YouTube, check it out! youtu.be/D23z_ARvqRg?...
