i am just catching up on this but it seems pretty bad (and outright deluded) to launch a social network without explicitly blocking people from using the most well-known racial slur in the english language as a username

Making one concentrated thread people can bookmark to be aware of things that happened on BlueSky. Others are free to throw in things that can be left out. Just posting articles I know of but to not have things scattered anymore (regard antiblackness , moderation, etc)

Happy Juneteenth! As a Ghanaian American, I’m grateful for the sacrifices Black Americans made, paving the way for Black people like me to thrive in this country. Let’s remember and honor the contributions and struggles of Black Americans, benefiting Black and non-Black immigrants alike.

Imagine if bsky had features for recruiting talent - that would be so cool! Many founders have shared how they've found amazing talent on Twitter. So why not step it up and create a suite of tools for talent recruitment that's not as bulky as LinkedIn? Let's make it happen!

With bsky, I’m learning how community building can enhance or speed up the product development process. We just watched a bunch of users demand the blocking feature to be moved up to the top of the roadmap and the team listened. Speed meets demand.
