A chaos emerald from sonic I made yesterday!! Such a challenging tattoo for me tbh but I loved it! I don’t work with any color but shades of red but the amount of reds I had on my tray for this was scary!! But I did it and it looks so cool 🥹 #tattsky #protattooartist

Being an artist is fun because some days you look at all the things you drew and think, wow I did that! And then some other days you spend hours just trying to draw a circle 😑

Bringing it to 🦋 by request: People hate their own art because it looks like they made it. They think if they get better, it will stop looking like they made it. A better person made it. But there's no level of skill beyond which you stop being you. You hate the most valuable thing about your art.

sometimes what may look like a sharp “improvement” in someone’s art is just a change in the conscious choices they’re making. many artists need to conserve their energy and time, so often not every piece showcases the peak of their potential or the entire breadth of their skill
