I've been deleting bugs and enhancing some other features! Deleting replies to deleted posts have been one of my fav delete jobs to run, now you can delete reposts of deleted posts.
@deletem.app
Deletem is a simple way to clean up your post history. Delete posts and unlike old likes, one at a time or in bulk. Filter by date, keywords, labels, or post type. Keep only what you want, remove the rest. https://deletem.app
Implemented some bug fixes and enhancements. With more on the way! But don't take my word for it.
There's a 'Detached Replies' option in the quick cleanups section now. Let me know how it goes!
You can also filter by posts, replies and reposts. Only want to include posts that have an image? Do it! You can also protect any of your own posts from future deletion simply by liking it.
Been cooking on a full redesign of @deletem.app for a while now. It's ready. New desktop and mobile layouts, a timeline scrubber on the side so you can jump to any point in your post history, filters that make more sense. Lmk what ya'll think. deletem.app
Forgot to show with some posts, I really like the timeline scrubber on the right, I def need to improve the UI for it though.
@deletem.app redesign progress, lmk your thoughts?
Fun thing I just added, the form will rotate through handles (catch the theme(s)?) I’m hoping this will show the end user examples to eliminate any confusion on what they should type in.
Heads up: next time you log into Deletem, you'll need to re-authorize. We swapped our old permissions that were a bit too wide for our liking with a narrower, more specific set that is the minimum the app actually uses. Same features, tighter privacy. 🔒
Want less "past me" on the internet? Deletem helps. deletem.app

deletem.app preview mode (on by default) lets you see which atproto records will be deleted before anything touches your repo. No surprises. No blind bulk deletes.
New feature: Protection Rules You can protect posts from deletion by liking them first. Or automatically protect posts above a certain like threshold. All enforced before deletion calls hit your PDS.
Whether you’re on bsky.social or self hosting your own PDS, deletem.app talks directly to your account over atproto.

If you ever wish you could erase posts (or likes) from 1 month ago or 3 months, or 6 months, etc. Check out deletem.app. Simple time range filters make cleanup easy.
Small UX + reliability updates shipped: Cleaner filters: advanced sections collapsed by default, hopefully resulting in a less cluttered look/feel. Smarter rate‑limit handling with server‑aware backoff + a visible cooldown countdown.
Drafts are cool. But you know what’s cooler? Not rate limiting on deleting posts. @bsky.app #featurerequest
This actually seems like a really cool app, giving you the ability to delete your own posts and likes.
atproto accounts are portable. your post and likes history is too. deletem.app connects to your custom or BlueSky hosted PDS and lets you delete posts and likes by time range, keywords and other smart filters.

Added a new feature called Protection Rules. Like a post to protect it from deletion. Or set a minimum like count to automatically keep high engagement posts safe if thats your thing.
I don’t know who needs to hear this, but you don’t owe anyone an explanation for why you want to delete posts.
New features! -You can now export your soon to be deleted posts in JSON format -Enhanced the UI on the Preview & Actions pane to include the filters you selected so you know exactly what posts are selected -Under the hood improvments
Blog about all the posts you’ve deleted! Or Take a post you’re going to delete and expand it into a blog!
What will you write on pckt.blog? Here’s some ideas to get started: - movie reviews - a public journal to share your life - secret romance blog - maker logs - special interests - manifestations - links you like - film shots and notes - tech experiments All that and more in your pckt
Pushed a some updates today to enhance the overall security for Deletem, the overall oauth experience for self-hosted PDS enjoyers and some UI/UX polish to keep the site as fast and comprehensive as possible. Keep the feedback coming :)
Solid use case to delete posts using Deletem. Can filter by keywords!
Mandatory social media disclosure and surveillance “has not proven effective at finding terrorists and other bad guys,” EFF’s Sophia Cope told @NYTimes.com. “But it has chilled the free speech and invaded the privacy of innocent travelers” and Americans, too. www.nytimes.com/2025/12/09/...
Crazy that I made a CLI tool for myself that turned into this. Feeling inspired, and now that you can use any PDS, I feel I can expand and add more features. My to-do list is growing. Anything you'd like to see?
