Trump Ag Secretary Brooke Rollins just called his SNAP cuts a "pretty big win". Throwing 5 million struggling Americans — including families with children — off food aid to fund tax cuts for the rich isn't a "win". It's a national disgrace.

Heather Cox Richardson: Trump's 2017 claim that he took no money from Russia " . . . contradicts Donald Trump Jr.’s 2008 statement that 'Russians make up a pretty disproportionate cross section of a lot of our assets' and Eric Trump’s 2014 boast, 'We have all the funding we need out of Russia.'"

While Trump wrote an EO that would give him the authority to do so, now is a good time to remind everyone that purging voter roles 90 days or shorter before the election is banned in most states. If you live in a red state, remind your governor, your AG, your SoS, and your state representatives.

NEWS: Rep. Chuck Edwards (R-NC) just dropped out of his re-election race at 3:32 a.m.m. He said he’s done running but will finish out his term. This after the House Ethics Committee found “substantial reason to believe [he] violated House Rules related to sexual harassment and hostile workplaces.”

FYI: Blanche rescinded the ORDER establishing the slush fund, not the underlying “settlement.” The settlement says any changes must be agreed to by ALL parties, not just Todd. This “rescission” isn’t worth the paper it’s printed on.
