I feel this disconnect a lot. The popular kinks on here - droning, tf, mechsploitation - they are rp and they can only be rp. rp is fine! fantasy is fine! but I like to actually be tied up and hit with things and it feels like nobody's into that.

It's interesting seeing the differences between folks in this space who are largely just RPing or dirty talking on the internet while having a long history of actual play under my belt. "Does this person actually play or do they just talk?" This game is sometimes easy mode, sometimes impossible.
