All done with this little boss select screen. Pretty happy with how it turned out. Again, I'll be opening up some of these select screen commissions in the near future. So keep an eye out.
My cover for MM Power Rangers Rita's Rewind ✨ Double sized issue, because we've got double the Rangers, double the Ritas, and a leap back to the 90s. This August (FOC Jun 23) -
Show me your tank(ish) vehicles! I swear I have more than this single piece of the mink and her crew but I can't find them at the moment 😅
Show me your tanks and not-tanks ! They can be a pain to draw :0
Today I discovered that people have been uploading old stock photo CD-ROMs to the Internet Archive and now I'm obsessed with the mid-'90s business-core aesthetic.
One of the many missed opportunities. It's been years since I tried and failed to work on this comic. I might show more if I find the originals as they should be around. I'm snipping these from Instagram ^^
As I work towards my first comic I'm exploring how to ink foliage and natural scenes. I've been drawing a lot of incredible inspiration from Bernie Wrightson's Frankenstein and the Vinland Saga Manga. #berniewrightson #frankenstein #vinlandsaga #manga #inking #foliage #comics #nature #grass
My boy, Rock Man, with a few closeups for detail. Drawn on 9" x 12" bristol board, with blue pencil. Inked with a Kuretake brush pen, Copic Multiliner, and a wide, flat, inking brush. White ink splatter with a toothbrush for effects. Also used 2 different, traditional screen tones.
Some fantastic looking pages, here, from @denisdupanovic.bsky.social. I love the action, the style. Everything is clear, well drawn, and easy to read. Fun stuff!
Some test pages I did last year for my comic. Since I was laid off from my studio job, I might as well do the whole thing now.
