SCOOP: Proton CEO Andy Yen to his staff: “Stop lovingly handcrafting all our code and use AI more.” 404 Media saw these internal messages, in which he also said it was "loser thinking" to an employee who urged the company to at least take a few days to test newly written code before going live.

Manifestos, Fear, and ‘Loser Thinking’: Inside Proton’s AI Reckoning

Proton CEO Andy Yen projects a calm persona and rails against Big Tech and critiques AI. Internally, he is pushing engineers to build Proton with AI, even when they have security concerns.

Instagram users in the United States don't have the option to object. I've set my account to personal and private for now. A lot of musicians and artists are leaving the platform because of this.

New TOS — The thing is…according to META…Simply by being on these apps you’ll be giving consent for AI to scrape your data — meaning your art, music, videos, etc will be owned by META. Protect your intellectual property and your privacy. You have 9 days. Fun times.

Jason Kint v @jason_kint Message %$&*!!! whoa. This reads that Meta is looking to grant itself the rights to scrape websites across the open web - and train Meta's Al - once a company uses Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp or other Meta services after October 30, 2026. So every biz. Read that again. I'll never understand why different iterations of games are discussed as if they're 1 full development cycle. I'm not making a video about the leak. We already knew the game is in development. We knew it's had issues with creative vision. We obviously don't have a release date. #BGE2

it cannot actually be ignored or danced around that the closure of BioWare came so soon after the Saudi and Jared Kushner acquisition of EA. they absolutely did take the studio making EA’s broadly queerest games out back and shoot it old yeller style. do not let yourself or colleagues ignore that

Mismanagement and forced political shifts in creative spaces are reasonable assumptions. It doesn't have to be one or the other. The Trump Admin targeted anything he regards as inclusive or DEI across various industries. Influencers peddle their agendas for $. It's had an impact. This is not new.

Ollie says to send her treats. 🎃👻 Thanks for all the love on that last Beyond Good & Evil 2 video. I've missed you all. I've been meaning to upload again (on cam) but I had an allergic reaction to a preservative in some eye drops. My eyelids have been swollen for 2 weeks now.

Mass Effect and Dragon Age deepened my love of games and helped me through some of the most challenging moments of my life. I know they did the same for many of those who follow me. Thank you to BioWare for creating unforgettable stories that continue to inspire us to this day.

6,260 Whistles and Kits have been distributed throughout Los Angeles. I'm packing 190 more for Skid Row and two community centers. Donate $ or supplies to keep this going: beacons.ai/denissetakes... Much love to @50501movement.bsky.social SoCal for recently gifting some Red Cards to my inventory.

Prints featuring the art I created for my songs 'Save Me' and 'Exhale' are almost ready for you. A limited quantity will be hand signed and available with additional items. I'll also be creating mini works of art to raise funds for Sudan. #art
