You don't need massive frameworks to build helpful AI agents. Tool calls can get you off the ground quickly for minimal cost and effort. Start simple and go from there. Add advanced patterns and specific frameworks only when they serve a purpose or enable a new use-case.

Most readmes and agent rule files I see only only mention coding styles, library preferences and syntax/language-specific rules. The kinds of things that won't stop agents from gradually degrading your codebase.
