Midwest was ok, I made a good profit but honestly the 9+ hours drive is no longer worth it to me, so I won't be returning to chicago unless I get into something big like acen or c2e2. I just...cannot travel that long anymore without a couple thousand in pure profit when local cons do WAY better.
I feel like a lot of artist alley complaints would be solved if we all agreed to stop doing self-serve tables. I would stop having people try to buy/unhook display copies and non-menu tables would have less stolen product. Win-win.
