I just saw the Odyssey and I will never complain about LA traffic again.
The little photos they put next to episodes on streamers are spoilers. Drives me crazy. I try to blur my eyes and select the next episode.

Things I hate in movies/TV: 5. CGI animals. 4. Fake driving. 3. "Three weeks earlier." 2. Volume stage horizon. 1. Swirling camera in action fight.
If you come upon a witness with dementia in a show, you can bet that amongst the nonsense he/she says to the detectives, there will be a very important moment of lucidity.
The nice thing the Emmys recognize is that all the best writing, direction, and acting is in just a few shows each year.

4. He found out he was going to die and didn't want to put her through that, but knew she would still want to marry him. Mark cooked up the story that he cheated on her to get her to push him away, but didn't say who with. She assumed her sister but nothing actually happened between them.

Kate O'Flynn's Patricia is my favorite character on TV right now. Reminds me of Stephen King's Holly Gibney books but funnier. Widow's Bay is the show. I keep recommending it cause it's so good.
On the first day of the freshly built Chicago Fire set in July 2012. I'd love to say I had more hair then, but I didn't.
I'd ask assistants questions. I'd say, "What's the next scene up?" They'd immediately answer, "Scene 12." I'd make a face and they'd go, "Wait a minute, just looked, it's actually Scene 11." I'd say, "You don't have to answer right away, just be right." Anyway, that's AI search these days.
Shout out to Widow's Bay... the closest to a Stephen King adaptation without being a Stephen King adaptation I've ever seen. It's really funny and scary. Perfect tone and great characters.
5. He was such a wild child before he enlisted that his high school friends abandoned him when he got in trouble. His dad didn't want to deal with his problems. Then in the military, he was a lone wolf... didn't bond with anyone... same as a cop. Not till Hurricane.

2. I haven't been to Japan or Australia so I'd like to do both of those! In the US, I'd like to see Mt. Rushmore and Niagara Falls. Also, I never saw the movie The Bucket List, but I'm not sure that makes my bucket list.

Circa 2005, I had a meeting with Kevin Spacey to discuss adapting a book to which his company owned the rights. He had recently taken over as artistic director of the Old Vic theater and I had been there to see a play in 2003. As you do in meetings like this, it started with some small talk...
In the old days, newsstands would have magazines and articles and you might see an article tease on the cover and you'd buy that magazine for $4 and take it with you. You didn't have to buy a subscription or give your name and number to the publisher. Make paying to read one article easy again!
Saw Send Help with Kristi yesterday and we laughed and gasped the whole way through. Such a fun movie my friends Shannon & Swift wrote from scratch!
