So I may have been a bit too hasty when I made that last post about cancelling the birthday stream. I can only apologize for the mixed signals, but the Super Mario Maker 2 developer’s commentary stream is back on the menu for Sunday, maybe a day or two later! Thank you for your patience :3

This may be the final update in the weirdest, but most amazing way possible! I’m not getting my hopes up, but by some miracle, the Switch 2 seems to be back up and running! It may have been the microSD causing a glitch? Who knows? Either way, super happy to potentially have this back!

Another Update: They still haven’t sent us a shipping label. We’re gonna try to contact them again tonight, but the odds aren’t looking good. Our last resort is buying a new Switch 2, which I really don’t want to do, but if we have to, so be it. I’ve already accepted the outcome either way.

UPDATE: After chatting with Nintendo customer support, I decided to send in the console, and they were kind enough to still cover it! It’ll take a few weeks to be shipped back, but it’s well worth the wait, I assure you. Besides, I have other games to keep me occupied, so it’s not as big a loss.

We made it home safely! Streams may continue later this week, but I can’t make any promises, as I gotta decompress from our long vacation. Thank you for understanding :3

And of course, I gotta pay my respects to the legacy of Satoru Iwata, who unfortunately passed away on this day. Eleven years ago. We all miss you so, so much.

On this glorious day in 2003, Kirby Air Ride officially released in Japan for the Nintendo GameCube! One of my personal favorite games of all time, and my first GameCube game ever! You hand me this game and I’ll always have a blast with it!

I should’ve brought more of my Dragon Ball manga with me on my vacation, but on the bright side, I’ll be starting the manga for Fullmetal Alchemist tomorrow, so that’s exciting! A stark contrast, sure, but it’ll have to do :3

Starting today, I’ll be going on a vacation, so streams will be halted for about two weeks. When I do get back from vacation, I’ll probably be doing more RetroAchievements, or PlayStation trophy hunting. Who knows, I may even cook up a schedule for once!

So from what I can tell, my Switch 2 just completely died for seemingly no reason. Not only is this absolutely devastating, but it’s also frustrating because my warranty just expired a few days ago. Now I have to pay for repairs, or just buy another Switch 2, which sucks. I’m not happy.
