I think the thing I resent most about gen AI- and this is a selfish thing to say but it’s true- is that it’s put an asterix on my sense of wonder. What I mean is that now when I see an amazing or beautiful image I can’t have that initial “wow!” reaction. I doubt. I have to verify. I hate it.

I've drawn many DT! comic strips over the last 8 years, but I think this panel remains my crowning achievement. I used to use it a lot on Twitter when seeing 'Design Influencers' posting continuous bollocks, and then usually get blocked. *stares out the window wistfully*.
I know you know this on bluesky, but I posted it on insta so I thought I should post here too. And if it makes someone second guess using AI for these things then maybe it helps.
