Everyday I look at black men and black women and I see royalty, strength, superiority, love, I see Gods people but also see defeat, acceptance of less than what is deserved, giving up, depression, lying, hurting & brainwashing ourselves in order to be in a system that has never benefited us.
(One of many nasty things about Joy Taylor’s involvement in that lawsuit is that I can already tell folks are gonna focus way too much on the “slept with her superior” part and not nearly enough on the “dismissed and mocked a woman being who was being sexually harassed” part.)
