I headcanon that the Savages and Exs are from Dest's dreams. This allows me as a player to branch out into jobs without having to worry about Dest's canon jobs. I also play into the concept of people in her dream being those shes met through her journey, even if just briefly passing on the street.

Dest has a soft spot for purple lilies as they were the first set of flowers Raha ever gave to her. In ShB, he brought lily seeds to the First to test his summoning capabilities and since cultivated them in a private section of the Hortorium. Dest doesn't find out about this until after Mt. Gulg.

I've been contemplating changing Dest's canon job for 8.0 depending on how they rework the jobs! So far, Dest has only picked up physically demanding jobs (SAM, MNK, WAR, etc) so this may be the perfect time for her to dabble into the more magic focused jobs!

It actually changes depending on where she is in the story! ARR-StB she thrives in the heat. But absorbing the light in ShB had a side effect in making her internal temperature too hot. And though she had been cleansed of the lights influence, she still struggles in hot environments. (1/2)

Maybe taking it a bit too literal, but going to the striking dummy at my house to see if my combat skills are still the same, or if I struggle to even shoot my target with a bow.
