Yes actually, but I voted simply for the inevitability of #liberals smugly assuming I didn't vote for their emotional support politician, because it's literally the only argument they're mentally prepared for and it's fun to throw them off-script then watch them wrestle with reality for a bit.

The attachment to comfort is a huge barrier for white "leftists" trying to mobilize for justice. Even when people intellectually know better, there is a demand on most Black & Indigenous people to centre the feelings & comfort of white folks in our organizing, even at the expense of our own safety.
