i wonder what draws most new music producers to the high speed hardcore/jcore styles of music production rather than other things like trance, house, or other slower paced genres thatre also prevalent in rhythm games and often stand out more?

for how good arcaeas paid stuff is, the free songs are easily the most defining part of the games soundtrack imo, they capture the essence of the game best, like kanegawa cyber culvert, qualia ideasthesia, ignotus, dement after legend, purgatorium, lost civilisation, all iconic to the sound
