First time seeing these two Screech Owls since early March. Wasn't sure if they had stuck around as I hadn't heard/seen them for so many months but I found them again this past weekend in their usual winter territory. The red morph is male and the grey is female. #birds #raptors

10 years ago today I had my #1 chase of my life near Dodge City, Kansas. This was my first week chasing the plains and I wish I could go back and re-do this day over with what I know now.
