A fan of video games, comics, and nerdy stuff. I post randomly depending on my mood but trying out different formats and such. I used to write reviews for Spider-Fan and so I’m trying to get back into that a bit. Profile pics commissions from Chris Campana

Awwwww hell yeah! It’s “Brand New Day”…Day. And that’s after I realized last night I bought tickets for the wrong night! Still got ‘em, I’m totally ready!

Took a reallllll long break, what with holidays, the move, and just wanting to play different games, but here is the completed Gameboy Lego! Despite numerous mistakes, a real blast to put together.

The completed Gameboy Lego, with the right option of game installed (Link’s Awakening)

Part of the fun of moving is finding new things that the movers broke, like one of a kind statues you got for supporting a small kickstarter campaign or a black-suit spider-man that’s now missing 2 fingers.

I left ONE of my 9 or so boxes of comics for our movers to handle. They were all bagged, boarded, and sorted in an Amazon box. They are now strewn across several boxes in whatever order they decided. That is probably several hours worth of resorting.

Caught up on Amazing Spider-Man #31 and “The Talk”. You know, I think they accidentally “aged” Peter. May says that “45 years ago” they made mistakes at hospitals sometimes and that’s how Cormac got lost or whatever. And then 15 years later Peter came to them. So Peter was born (now) sometime

Reading ASM #29 and Daredevil #3 back-back-back essentially has been a great time, because both issues have the title character being taught by the guest how to manage their super senses/spider-sense and live in balance and I don’t know if this was intentional or coincidence

Tried the 2025 “The Running Man” last night. I don’t remember the original at all, but I really liked this new one. People said the pacing was weird (my wife said the beginning especially), but I was into it. The right blend of crazy but also trying to say something.

A new Resident Evil, the last part of the FF7 remake, AND Spidey/Luke Cage/DD are on the Avengers (with Zdarsky and Chechetto as the creative team)? Yesterday was VERY good to me.

Getting sick on the weekend is the worst, but getting sick in a way where I can’t talk and have to both try to help raise a child AND I can’t just comment on everything all the time- pure Hell. Except, I guess, for the people who have to LISTEN to me. For them it’s great.

So after trying Hades 2 I decided I needed to ACTUALLY beat Hades. After over a month of trying, I was able to finally get through 10 successful runs. May try to get the epilogue, but damn, was I feeling bleak there for awhile. Very satisfying to finally get that ending.

Now that Hades 2 is on gamepass I can get addicted to a game that I am objectively terrible at, all over again! I may never beat it, but at least I’ll have a lot of fun in the process.
