DHS's new visa rules for int'l students studying in the US are, as you might imagine, bad. The link below offers a useful summary. A key thing is that students can now only get 4-year visas, including PhD students, rendering such degrees all but impossible. www.fisherphillips.com/en/insights/...

This policy will have very serious ramifications in the arts and diminish arts education in the United States. In particular, reducing access for people who rely on loans means arts study will be only for those who have money.
