Building the next generation of Infrastructure automation tools @ OpsMill
Great ideas die without budget. If your network automation initiative is struggling to get exec sponsorship, this webinar will show you how to build a business case they can't ignore:
Transforms is such an important feature in #infrahub. Bringing the data transformations closer to the data creates a cleaner boundary between all the tools in a way that makes it easier to manage schema updates and overall software upgrades.
Transform infrastructure data into ANY text-based format: configs, API payloads, Terraform variables, documentation, etc. Query with GraphQL, transform with Jinja2 or Python, version with Git.
Infrahub 1.7 is out 🚀 Profiles got a serious upgrade. One of Infrahub’s hidden gems, getting better and better.
New year, new Infrahub! 🎉 Versions 1.6 & 1.7 are here, bringing audit metadata, Profiles with relationships, a new dashboard, branch management improvements & loads more. Details on the blog: opsmill.com/blog/infrahu... opsmill.com/blog/infrahu...

It’s easy to forget how much we rely on open source. It’s harder to ask: Are we doing our part to keep it alive? Instead of handing out swag at #autocon3, we’re donating to open source projects for every person who gets their email register at our booth. It’s a small step, but it’s a start.
This is a good reminder that for an industry that is moving so fast, we have an underinvestment in training that is really crazy when you think about it. It feels to me that my friends outside of the tech industry have a lot more training than we do !!
Christian and #ntc running a great workshop on CI/CD at #autocon3 I'm really amazed with the engagement all participants have demonstrated during all the workshops so far, everyone is really eager to learn and these workshops are really amazing 🤩
Day 2 of #autocon3 workshop starting with Claudia teaching everything about Jinja2, cc @ttl255.bsky.social
Great first day at #autocon3, lots of great discussions with new and old friends. with the @opsmill.bsky.social team we ran a workshop on data modeling and network source of truth in the afternoon, the room was packed and there was a lot of interest for modeling and for Infrahub, super exciting.
#autocon3 is starting strong with 2 days of workshops @infrastructureascode.ch and @steinzi.bsky.social running the show to teach everyone how to use NUTS and Pytest
Have you ever tried building a Terraform provider for a dynamic schema? @marcom4rtinez.bsky.social did! Marco created a strategy to generate tailored Terraform providers for dynamic Infrahub schemas, detailing the build and usage process in two blog posts. infrastructureascode.ch/author/mmart...
A new podcast was just published on Network Automagic. Steinz, Marco and I are discussing the Network Unit Testing System (NUTS). networkautomagic.net/podcast/na003/

On my way to Barcelona to attend #NetBCN, looking forward to catching up with everyone.
I think people that use open-source greatly underestimate the time involved in doing releases and fixing CI-CD. "Just do a release for it"...seven hours later :-)
Monster post. took me quite a while if i'm being honest. www.problemofnetwork.com/posts/vault-...
Vault TLS With Network Appliances
Abstract Now that we have a Vault, with a TLS Issuing CA, and some idea of how to get certs out of it, lets look at how we can use this in a “real” world scenario to put a valid TLS profil...

I still need to do some prompt template engineering. The result is okay, but the agent did not use the provided tool as I intended. xD
