i highly recommend shipping something before it feels ready. before you ask for feedback, put it in front of real users first. you already know what needs fixing and waiting for permission to launch just slows you down.

my only advice is to study other indie hackers who shipped before you. for years they've been documenting what works and what doesn't. they figured it out the hard way so you don't have to. use that.

Shipping always beats planning, And that truth stings a *lot* of indie makers...Every product that earns is built in public, not in Notion.

when you start building in public, use your first few launches to understand your Audience. most solo makers focus only on the Product (features/metrics/revenue). but Audience + Product lets you move faster from Visibility to Traction to Growth. example questions to ask early:

someone once said: ship fast or ship perfect. only chase perfection and you'll never launch. ship fast and you'll actually learn. that single choice shapes your whole roadmap, your entire trajectory. momentum doesn't guarantee success, but it damn sure beats waiting.

"i used SEO" "i used backlinks" okay well i, i, i keep shipping and resisting the urge to launch fast, if one feature had been cut, would the product have found its users by now?

decide what you're building - before you open your laptop, before you check Twitter, before you write a single line of code. decide.

You'd be surprised how many features you don't need to build. Instead of shipping more, focus only on what moves users toward paying. Just stop building things nobody asked for.
