So, back in March, a private landowner asked us at RESTORE HABITAT UK to create a small wildlife haven to encourage Butterflies, Bees, insects & birds to visit. We divided the field into 3 sections: wildflowers, meadow grass & a birdseed crop #ReWild #Conservation check out more at restorehabitat.uk

Haven’t been out birding/photographing in ages 🥺 but here’s a Barn Swallow from June. Absolute pains to photograph - usually too far away and too fast. Best photo I’ve managed… #BirdOfTheDay #YourChoice
The Kitchen Robin minus its tail now. Every day without fail, as soon as the back kitchen door is open, it comes in to help itself. #birds #kitchenrobin #mygarden #NWCheshire
The Kitchen Robin, looking like a bag of rags, it's still coming into the kitchen and helping itself to waxworms. #birds #kitchenrobin #NWCheshire

I wondered why the tub of Waxworms was emptying so quickly. The cheeky Robin was helping itself in my kitchen, taking the worms to feed its chicks, which fledged over two weeks ago. Now it's taking them for itself. #birds #gardenbirds #mywildlifegarden #cheekyRobin #naturephotography #NWCheshireUK
THE STORIES END of the tree stump Robins. All last week, the 5 chicks were being plagued by Midges and fleas every night in the nest. This can cause chicks to die in the nest. The chicks decided they'd had enough and bailed from the nest. I will never know the fate of the other four.
With the UK going through a heatwave at present, the birds are taking advantage of the wildlife pond waterfall for drinking and bathing. Juvenile House Sparrows, Great Tit, Blue Tit and Coal Tit #birds #gardenbirds #bathingbirds #water #heatwave #mywildlifegarden #birdcams #naturecams #NWCheshireUK
