Recently I've been reading and enjoying James Islington's Hierarchy series and so I decided to make my own version of the map as well! Hoping to finish The Strength of the Few today. Only a hundred pages or so left to go 😄

A printed out copy of the map of the Catenan Republic from the Hierarchy series drawn by the original poster next to a lit candle the second book in the series, The Strength of the Few.

Started reading James S.A. Corey's The Mercy of Gods yesterday and it's been a hoot! Really loving it so far, especially the build-up of tension leading up to Part 2 of the book ✨ I'll have to get around to reading The Expanse at some point as well.

I often forget how far I've come with my art. The first is from April 2025, the second is from February 2023! Do you guys have any old/new art you could share, to show how much you've improved? 🥰 feel free to repost, so more people share their wonderful #art!

A drawing of an eclectus crab. It has a cube shaped pink body, with a flat cap and two eyes sticking up from the middle. The left (right side, from the crab's perspective) legs and claw are bright yellow, and the right (left side, from the crab's perspective) are dark purple. Its yellow crushing claw is much larger than its purple claw.

In a week from now I'll be handing over my keys and saying goodbye to Denmark and the 7 square metres of personal space that I've been renting, but in the meantime I can reflect on life and eat pastries while reading in a café ✨

I hope everyone has a wonderful new year ✨ Last year was a bit of a mixed bag for me and I didn't get a lot of art done, but at least I finished up my Danish courses with fairly good grades on the final exams. Another thing I'm proud of is reading 43 books in '24 and in 3 different languages!
