I joined Twitter in 2010, in my 1st year of grad school. I found a thriving ecosystem of theology nerds, niche political analysis, and strangely immediate means of communicating with writers and thinkers that I loved. I'm skeptical that lightning can strike in the same way twice. But here goes.

Once again, @jake_meador is doing good work drawing attention to political theology from scholars who draw deeply on the historical tradition to address contemporary concepts too often strawmanned. This time, it’s Bowlin’s work on the virtue of tolerance...

One year ago today: married the smartest, kindest, most beautiful person I'd ever met. We're spending our anniversary in a way neither of us ever wanted or could anticipate. But cancer doesn't get the last word.
