Having kids is wild because I’m frantically searching for ONE specific Nike sock for my 6th grader, trying to keep my 4th grader from filling his backpack with 7 (yes 7) heavy dogman books and pulling pinecones out of my 2nd graders backpack. And it’s only 6:30am.

One of my biggest pet peeves is when photographers and videographers aren’t tagged. Videos and photos go viral and I struggle to figure out who shot it originally and it drives me crazy. Tag your photo/video people! Bonus points if listed in your caption and not just tagged!

Can we stop making it normal to make fun of and laugh at children on the internet? The amount of videos I see of kids crying or struggling while their parents film them and laugh and then post it and people laugh in the comments is infuriating.

Genuinely if you teach your kids ONE thing as a parent, teach them to be kind and inclusive to other children. Our world, and the worlds of so many children who are teased and made fun of and left out, would be so much better for it.

Sometimes I think point differential should matter in the NBA because how are the Celtics gonna beat the pelicans by ONE POINT and the headline is “Celtics beat pelicans to improve to 28-11 this season”?!?

It’s a very weird feeling to be surrounded by absolute devastation and tragedy and have to just continue with everyday life… making lunches, taking kids to school, while also being prepared to evacuate but also trying to keep kids calm. I’m exhausted. And anxious. And sad.

5 years ago I took a chance on myself with a Blazers fan site. It was out of my comfort zone, I didn’t think it would pan out. But it did. I’m living a literal dream working full time as a sports photographer. Take chances. Do things that scare you. Go for your dreams.

For all of y’all who fly a lot, what do you do for miles? Do you always fly the same airline and collect that way? Looks like I’m gonna be flying a whole lot more this year and I’d like to be as efficient as possible with it!

You know what I don’t hear people talk about? Re-Listening to your fav music from times in your life that were tough. I’ve been trying to desensitize myself to songs that used to take me back to times in my life that I don’t want to associate those songs with anymore. It’s weird.

Something inside me might be broken when it comes to how I perceive relationships. I find myself always rooting for the people who don’t end up together. I was very on board for Rachel and Joey, Damon and Elena, Serena and Nate, Carrie and literally anyone other than Big….

One thing I’ve learned is wear the sequins. Wear them on a random Tuesday. Wear them to the grocery store. Don’t wait for special occasions. Clothes are supposed to be fun! Wear the sequins.

Here’s my honest take on “the ultimatum”. If you’re at that dramatically different of a place in your relationship and can’t come to a compromise on your own, you shouldn’t be getting married. No one on this show should be getting married.
