There are not enough antidepressants and antianxiety meds for me to not be worried and depressed from not having money as workman's comp hasn't paid me anything for months, and that doesn't include 3 weeks of pay they never paid me at all, or any out of pocket for prescriptions and devices.

I've actually been having physical stress-based side effects from getting screwed by workman's comp not paying me jack yet. Can't pay mortgage, can't get gas, can't buy food. Having to take payday loans just to pay off other loans. Meanwhile they sit on thousands of dollars of lost pay.

Just saw a video @parkroseperma.bsky.social put out 3 days ago, and the news person was talking about how going into trades would give you a lot of money. (Ignoring they want 8 yr olds doing this for now) No. It wouldn't. The jobs wouldn't pay crap. 3.8 million kids graduate every year....

I still think the world right now is basically a "Tom Clancy" novel plot... things in the background, deals with countries we think are enemies, all to weaken the USA so the real plan happens--all because trump's easily played and bribed.

Was bored, started doing unit test like things with a program to test it... Instantly found a weird bug that would never normally happen (and ironically if it did, it wouldn't matter). ex: checks for paperwork if contains paperwork, processes if someone did fuckyourpaperwork, it'd still process

Best way to not have to decorate for holidays? Never take down your decorations. Halloween lights up all year, merry christmas on the door still from last year because I stuck it on way too good with 50lb sticky things (I used like 8) lol.

I'll never get over how companies have convinced people that spending up to 10 hrs 30 minutes a day for work is an 8 hour workday, and you obviously have 16 hours a day left for "you". (30 min to get dressed, 1 hr commute round trip, 9 hours on site with 1 hr 'work lunch' unpaid)

"Maybe I could go into being an electrician...." News broadcast training thousands of new electricians for data centers. Well, now there will be too many electricians

I'd almost bet that if people in windows 11 opened up terminal, (and assuming they had winget installed) type "winget upgrade --all" they'd be shocked at how many programs had updates they didn't realize. I actually have a script on pcs at work that run that on a schedule every morning.

I will never get used to the fact that based on definitions of "disability" and what qualifies--I could be considered to have, let's just say a number. And until I got "permanent light sensitivity" as a human-based words for the diagnosis for the condition... I thought I had 0.

I wrote a program that tracks total keyboard use, and mouse use. It logs how much time is "active" vs "idle", and says what hours the pc had activity. My actual use for this? To see if any activity is on pcs outside work hours--meaning someone has a backdoor into the system. However.....

I really, REALLY wish I could get hired by a specific hospital organization. For one reason more than anything: they have recruiters that seek out disabled and LGBT/minorities to hire--so you at least have equal chance.

People seriously need to contact IT over a office manager who doesn't know IT. We just had potentially a security breach because the office manager fucked up something when an employee was let go.

Gary Indiana... yes they should've gotten the power up quicker. There's also the reports that people had shot at the workers trying to get the power up (they shot their vehicle)... and apparently they were like "screw this" and left not wanting to risk getting shot

Sadly still applies, still have balance left, car payment, other bills, and don’t have enough for gas. Meanwhile workers comp owes me like 5k just from following their restrictions. Been like 4 months since at mmi, giving lawyer no responses.

Hate to ask. But as just took an 11k pay cut due to workplace injury and them finding any accommodation too difficult (it's a punishment). I can't pay my mortgage this month as haven't had anything in a settlement Anything would help. venmo.com/code?user_id...

Simplified amount due 1557, not paid yet this month.

YES! I Officially have a kidney stone! Well, not until dr says yes, but still, one did. It's been in me a week. Better that then "so yeah, there's a ____ on/in your kidney, here's a referral" Still waiting for all workups... but at least % wise much better now.

I really don't get it. People drive like 10-20mph under the speed limit on highways. But then the second they get into town, by houses, school zones, they're going like 10-20 OVER the speed limit.

Anyone one of those people who acts dumb so that others don't realize how smart or good at things you really are? Know how tiring it gets? Ever realize how pissed off you get when you see people trying to be "smart" by doing things against you they think you're too dumb to realize?

Anyone else have a nickname people call you that's not because they gave it to you, rather it was an autocorrect of your name? Anyway, that's why a lot call me "did"

AI--people think "oh it'll help a company be more productive". Example: Trucking company (one I know of), they have AI do: -email customers -send bills -accept loads -gives info to truckers -process paperwork -write checks Workers are now part-time contractors if the AI totally fails.

Ever have the thought of trump might end up as so pissed over the supreme court, that me makes the "ultimate supreme court" that's above them, so he can appeal things to that new court he filled with his family members?

Only on conservative media is not having food or gas better than a possibility of a country having a nuke because they hate us-- because we attacked them.

I'm not saying that decreasing safeguards for food, getting rid of inspectors/etc don't cause problems... but I also know that a number of inspectors were worthless pieces of crap. Was a meat packing plant in a town I was in, by rail road, rat/mice infested--perfect passing for inspections.

(See pinned post). Permanent light sensitivity that causes migraines. Work-incident caused. Instead of working with me, allowing 1day a week remote (99% of work is remote, 50% of users/equipment isn't on site). Their dr's limited to 4days a week, and work moved the brightest lights over my desk.
