You can think of a brand refresh like walking out of a salon rocking a style you’ve never tried before: it’s exciting—but it can be vulnerable, too. Do I look how I imagined I would? Do I still feel like me? It’s a true joy to see @eveninglandbooks.com so thrilled to show off their new do.

We're excited to share our new logo! The design was created by @bandish.bsky.social, an incredibly talented designer and writer, and dear friend. We wanted something made for digital, but seemingly printed. We could not be happier with the results. Thank you, Kristian! It's a work of art, truly!

Our logo with text. It shows an archway containing a landscape of river and bluffs, rays of sunlight, and our monogram "EL". To the left of the archway is the text reading, "Evening Land / rare & collectible books." This version is our "full color" version. The archway and landscape contain shades of burgundy, taupe, warm white, and a dark green. The text is framed in dark green but filled with gold. All of it is digitally made, but in such a way as to seem printed. There are little imperfections as though the ink was bedaubed unevenly, as it can sometimes look with letterpress printing.
