EUIC in the bag, and another run I’m really happy with. It didn’t feel great to lose so many in a row, but there were several points I know I was so close to taking it. I know I can do better, and I’m hopeful. A massive win in my books.
Back home after a whirlwind weekend in Birmingham, competing in my first VGC Pokemon Regional Championship. After a 3-1 start, I finished 4-4, which I’m honestly super happy with. Lots of learning and growth, onwards to EUIC!

I finally finished watching Buffy for the first time. Pretty good show that. I think it has moments of brilliance, an average episode rating of ‘good’, and an unfortunately rushed finale. I think if they stuck the landing it might have bumped up the rating a little, but for now I’ll give it a 7/10.

I think weapon durability in videogames is bad. (I don’t mean limited ammo/rechargeable resource. I mean if you use it too much, you lose it permanently. I think that’s silly.)
