I photographed this fern as I was walking into Caenlochan Glen the other day. It's an unpleasant walk across sloping ground and I didn't have the enthusiasm to interrogate further. It's either the rare Woodsia alpina, or a young Cystopteris fragilis. Any pointers v welcome! @bsbibotany.bsky.social
Purple Ramping-fumitory Fumaria purpurea from Aberdeenshire today. Found last year by @1davidelston.bsky.social. Several plants in a potato crop margin adjacent to the 2025 location. Unhelpful/welcome heavy rain this morning! @bsbibotany.bsky.social
