I've known for a while that the coworker I see every day is a furry but I don't really ever talk much about myself. being from a different generation of the fandom and all, it's hard to gauge what we'd even have in common. it feels like trying to befriend a cousin from a remote branch of family

I got every lamp working! These things are an absolute blast to work on, even in the solid state era it's all so analog and physical. Using the lamp matrix diagrams to sleuth out what's wrong and where your bad connections are is so satisfying

power's out at work because the previous tenant (or the landlord) forgot to pay the outstanding bill when our lease started it's cool enough out that we don't *need* the AC, so I'm just chillin in the emergency lighting and waiting for the word to go home

seemingly everyone but me at work was told two pieces of very important info between 4pm yesterday and 7am today, and it resulted in me calling the district mgr to (politely) say, "look, if I'm the only daytime ops lead, I need to be in the same loop as the manager who is currently on vacation"

very funny that a senator in my state is tweeting about furry pilots as well as a furry convention in the state to which i just traveled, by plane very, very weird, but also pretty funny

playing 120hz sdvx nabla and loctest jubeat all weekend with the new timing visualizer made me realize how inconsistent I still am when it comes to hand-controlled rhythm games. It's still mostly a bell curve, but nowhere near the ±10ms I can get on ITG (when I've been practicing...)

in 24 hours I'll be in Minneapolis for the weekend 👀 it would have been cool for cousin's wedding to line up with furry convention last week but alas! Still looking forward to plenty of MN things I haven't seen in a loooong time~

strangely enough, switching my office's SecretLab Titan to a task chair with no armrests has improved the ergonomics, even if it does lose me my gamer cred

what if I started reading umineko, what kind of reaction does that get in current year I have zero context aside from the premise, I already think it's up my alley, and I played Chaos;head back in the day so yes I can endure endless VN waffling lmao
