McNamara fallacy expanding to its extremes. When you set up measurable criteria but disregard all other possible factors, you get ruin. It runs rampant in tech circles and leads to the belief they know better. Cutting humanities leads to a greater erosion of ethics and complex problem solving.

Dad had a major surgery once he was back home in the EU from a trip yesterday, but it went well. I really worry now that he's getting older. Thankful he is not in the US medical system.

Today we would like to recognize Ken Sample aka Ken Cougar. A Black man who is credited with creating and coining the term "Fursona". While drawing one of his "Exotics" Ken drew a Cougar character that looked strikingly like himself. Attendees of this conference also wanted their own characters!
