You are never locked into OmniFish. Customers receive the full source code under an open source licence, along with instructions to reproduce the same binaries. The subscription covers the binaries and support, but you can continue building, patching, and running it yourself.

We have published an enhanced version of the GlassFish Documentation, featuring: -Improved UI -Search -Version selector -Latest snapshot of the docs for upcoming GlassFish 8 version -Nested Arquillian Containers and Embedded GlassFish maven plugin docs docs.omnifish.ee/glassfish/...

OmniFish provides supported builds of Payara Community, a true drop-in alternative to Payara Enterprise, with no app changes needed. In many real-world deployments, the cost of OmniFish Build of Payara halves what Azul charges for Payara Enterprise. omnifish.ee/payara-builds/

GlassFish supports virtual threads in its HTTP thread pools and Managed Executors. This allows the server to handle a massive number of concurrent requests with minimal overhead, leading to significant improvements in scalability and performance for I/O-bound applications.

If you care about security in your production setup, we recommend implementing the steps described in this article and considering professional support. It’s the best way to ensure your apps remain safe, compliant, and ready for whatever comes next. omnifish.ee/zero-day-threat...
