Hey everyone! Giving a quick campaign update here and some info about the upcoming demo update! Currently we have roughly a week left until the end of the campaign, and we're just under $2600 short of our goal. Backers pledged about another 13% during the middle 15 days of the campaign, which I'm happy with considering the middle of all of the KS campaigns I've watched in the past has historically been drastically slower than the start and end. This leaves us with 37% left to raise in the last week.

To help us reach that goal, I have a lot planned this week, both in terms of promotion AND a new update to Flipside! Within the next few days I'll be releasing an update to the demo on itchio that will add 2 new shops to the game world: A duel accessory shop, and a clothing shop! These will only have a single type of cosmetic each at the moment since this is only their very first implementation, and there's still a lot of work to do to finish the rest, but it gives the player a small taste of the cosmetic choices that will be available in Brave Beginnings. And to be extra clear, these shops only use credits, the in-game currency, just like a typical RPG. There will be zero micro transactions in Brave Beginnings, and I have no plans to add them in any future chapters.

Currently working on a new Flipside update that will release within a week that adds the first item shops to the game! The first items will be pretty simple but I think the shopkeepers and enter-able buildings make the city feel a lot more lively. #gamedev #indiegame #rpg

Acceleraptor is still one my favorite cards I've designed. It was also the first time I really locked in and put some effort into the card art, even if I'm still not the best at it (I want to re-draw him later). His effect will need some re-wording before release though.

Been a while since the last update as I'm in the middle of completely replacing the current placeholder intro of the story with a brand new series of cutscenes and interactive tutorials that introduce you to the story and it's characters. It's a huge task but I'm very close to having it done.
