No moths in the trap this morning, but I did find a White-point under the trap, which saved me from Wogan's grasp. Quoting Steve, it looks like my "dance with Wogan" has now begun. Another shot of the Herald from a week ago. #teammoth

I like wildlife, and wildlife gardening in particular. I want to know what comes to my garden during the day and at night (moths, VC61). Amateur photographer. South-East Yorkshire, UK.
I'm always looking for the greenest Green-brindled Crescent I can find. This is the best so far. #teammoth
A Feathered Thorn, which was new for the year yesterday. Aside from two Clancy's Rustics and a Turnip Moth, this morning's trap was very similar to recent traps. I was surprised to see the Clancy's Rustics, and they were more fancy Clancy than the one I had worn twelve days ago. #teammoth
I gave up trying to photograph this lifeless-looking Red-green Carpet yesterday because it refused to cooperate. In the end, I let it go, along with the Red-line Quaker, who was too scruffy to photograph. There was a better-looking Red-line Quaker in this morning's trap. #teammoth #dramaqueenmoth
This very accommodating Merv must've spent more than five minutes walking all over this leaf while I took photos. So now I have many decent ones, and I don't know what to do with them. Not a bad problem to have, I guess. #teammoth
Just a bunch of regulars in the trap this morning: Large Wainscot, Black Rustic, Sallow, Beaded Chestnut, LYU, White-point, Silver Y, LBAM, Vine's Rustic, Angle Shades, and Green-brindled Crescent. A Merveille du Jour from a few days ago. #mothmonday #macromonday #teammoth
My first Herald. I wish I could say I found it in my garden, but that would be a lie. I gently removed it from a spout of a tap at work. I could see its scalloped-edge wings. This moth has been on my wish list for a while. #teammoth
New for the year yesterday: Choreutis pariana. I spotted it on an echinacea flower while walking around the garden in the afternoon. #teammoth
I thought I wouldn't get a visit from a Clifden Nonpareil NFY this year. But at 4:30 this morning, there he was on the wall, and I panicked because I had to leave him and run indoors to get a takeaway container. A Green-brindled Crescent and Choreutis pariana were also NFY. #teammoth
It's a pity it looks like it's been pulled through a hedge backwards multiple times, yet I was still pleased and surprised to find a Clancy's Rustic NFG this morning. Only 12 records for Yorkshire, and it's described as a rare wanderer. #teammoth
After consecutive lacklustre traps, I was very pleased to find a Mallow NFG this morning—a scarce moth in Yorkshire. I was lucky, though. I only found it after looking around the area where I had my trap, 45 minutes after emptying it. #teammoth
I was glad to see this Green-brindled Crescent in yesterday's trap, especially since I'd never trapped the melanic form before. #teammoth
One of the two Pink-barred Sallows from the trap this morning. The first of the year for me. I'm not trapping at home, though. I'm on a short break, near Ripon, North Yorkshire. #teammoth
I like Black Rustics NFY, but they're a hassle to photograph. In the end, I realised that for some reason, taking night shots was the best way to show its markings. There were two in the trap, a male and a female. #teammoth
A Beaded Chestnut that was new for the year a few days ago. You can tell autumn is just around the corner. I had a couple of Black Rustics NFY in the trap this morning. #teammoth
I potted a NFG micro last night while checking the trap. ObsID is 99% sure that it's Mompha divisella, which means it's gen. det., as there are only two records of it in Yorks. It’s extremely similar to M. bradleyi. Either way, it’s a new moth for my garden; I just don’t know its name. #teammoth
