41 years ago, Carl Sagan gave a clear and elegant explanation of the science behind global warming.
Titan Seas Reflect Sunlight Saturn's moon Titan has numerous smooth lakes of methane that, when the angle is right, reflect sunlight as if they were mirrors. #Astronomy
Animation of a robot high above the Earth on a structure attached to an orbital ring. #SciArt #spaceart #Blender #3Danimation
Back in 2023 i did some pitch work gor Supergirl. we based ours straight on the comic. Reimagining the panels into real life.Loved doing the crazy colours . Id love to do a movie that was this vibrant! #conceptart #conceptartist #supergirl #productionart #supergirlwomanoftomorrow
@bsky.app Why oh why is it that when I look at videos in the app, enlarge them and then rotate my phone to see them full screen, they immediately stop playing and disappear? For as long as I've been using it. Fix please.
vimeo.com/1220406736?s... Updated Uranus flyby, all by me, no AI Still needs a bit more work. I like the way the rings naturally become visible, but the relative brightness of the rings needs fixing. I'm happy with the level of subtle detail on Uranus, but I need to desaturate the colours a bit.

This is coming together, but still needs a bit more work. I like the way the rings naturally become visible as you get close, but the relative brightness of the rings needs fixing. I'm also happy with...

As robots become more and more lifelike and sophisticated, and more and more intelligent, might humans one day form romantic relationships with them? NOT made with AI. #SciArt #spaceart #Blender3d
Animation of ice plumes erupting from Enceladus, the sixth-largest moon of Saturn. Enceladus is an icy moon. In its south polar region, huge jets of water ice particles erupt into space from ridges in its icy crust. #SciArt #spaceart #3Danimation #3dsmax
I do also fully believe my Dad had a hand in all of this, I didn't know the name of the piece until after I'd secured it. Spirit of the Stars. He always told me lost loved ones were the brightest stars in the night sky, and I talk to him in the stars.🥹
Animated 3D map of the closest stars to our Solar System (centre). The Earth's equatorial plane is the horizontal plane, and the blue shells mark five light-years, with the outermost shell being 20 light-years from the Sun. #SciArt #spaceart #3Danimation
Hi, folks. Here's an old but favourite animation I did in 2013 depicting the Earth-Moon system in infancy. This is shortly after a Mars-sized body ('Theia') hit the proto-Earth. The Earth reformed, and the Moon coalesced out of the rest of the debris. #SciArt #3Danimation #3dsmax

#Blender animation depicting Mars 4100-3700 million years ago. The period is characterised by high rates of meteorite impacts, volcanism and possibly abundant surface water — however, the water is thought to have been localized rather than spanning the planet in oceans, as on Earth.
The 30 July 2026 Astronomy Picture of the Day featured a remarkable shot of the Sun photographed through a wildfire smoke-filled sky that turned the star a deep red. So I tweaked it to look like we're orbiting an M-class red dwarf star with a close-in system of rocky planets, like TRAPPIST-1.
Here are some of my non-digital #SciArt paintings. I don't do this stuff anymore. Maybe I should. 1. Flight of the Eagle. Pastel and acrylics 2. Global Mortification. Oil pastels 3. Beyond Magritte's Door. Acrylic 4. Aurora Planet. Acrylic. Please reskeet
Last week it was looking close to done. I painted over much of that today. I think this approach will give it much more depth.
Mars as imagined just before the landing. This painting, one of a trio done for NASA HQ, ended up being used for the JPL landing press badge. What a thing that was to see when I arrived and signed in!
My take on the entire launcher family based around the Energia rocket, and its boosters. Some of these are more than a bit speculative.
