Election signs are now up Nanaimo! John Little has been working on sign crews since 1984 in Nanaimo, the region, and even in other provinces. “As you can see, I just asked people to come out, and today we had 14 people come out,” he said. “It's amazing. If you ask people to help, they will help.”

We checked in one year later with Habitat for Humanity in Nanaimo regarding their Building Material Exchange Project. “We've been able to see a real increase in things like salvaged kitchens, appliances, lumber, flooring, a tonne of different materials that have come in,” said Abigail Shakespeare.
